The Dragonrider QSL Club was formed many years ago to fill a niche in the UK QSL Card collecting scene.

At the time (1982) there were 100's of clubs in the UK alone, and 1000's worldwide. Now, you'd be hard pushed to find 100 worldwide I fear.

But, back then the hobby of collecting QSL Cards was flourishing, there were regular meetings up and down the country every year, people collected all sorts of QSL Card and there were even Series of these cards being printed. Hotfoil, full colour versions, one colour cards, Poma, Sundance, Currie to name but a few.

Regretfully, this whole mini industry which even had a number of Magazines catering for the hobby, along with other aspects of CB Radio seems to have all but gone now as the internet has taken over so much more of our lives. Well, just look at the number of websites nowadays!
